The North American Saddlery School was founded with a clear and deeply rooted mission: to preserve the timeless craft of traditional saddlery while equipping modern equestrians, aspiring saddle fitters, and leather‑craft professionals with the skills they need to thrive in today’s equine industry. Built on a foundation of expert instruction and a passion for horsemanship, our school has become a trusted destination for students seeking genuine, hands‑on training in saddle and bridle fitting, construction, and repair.

At a time when skilled saddlers and qualified fitters were becoming increasingly difficult to find, our founders recognised a need across North America for high‑quality training guided by Qualified Master Saddlers, Bridle Makers, and Certified Saddle & Bridle Fitters. The school grew from this vision — to offer accessible, traditional English saddlery training right here in the United States, without requiring students to travel abroad.

From the beginning, we welcomed a diverse community of learners:

• individuals beginning their professional saddlery journey,

• saddle and bridle fitters seeking to refine their craft,

• equine professionals looking to expand their knowledge, and

Our curriculum reflects this diversity. We offer saddle and bridle fitting, saddlery making, and repair courses designed for all levels — from complete beginners to advanced practitioners.
