Meals- Due to COVID-19 we regret that we cannot include breakfast or lunch. Tea, water and coffee will along with individually wrapped snacks will be provided by a staff member.
Please bring your own notebook and pen to record notes. We cannot allow sharing or items due to our COVID-19 protocol.
Accommodation is not included and must be arranged by the delegate as well as transportation. The Holiday Inn Express in Clear Spring offers a reduced rate but please ask for the Manager and reserve at least two weeks ahead of time.
To make available the basic principles of the SMS recommended saddle fitting system to members of the equestrian industry.
Criteria for attendance
Candidates must be one of the following:
i. In full time employment with a fully paid up member of the Society of Master Saddlers (UK) Ltd or be a member in their own right.
ii. In full time employment with a fully paid up retail member of The British Equestrian Trade Association or be a member in their own right.
iii. Registered Farrier.
iv. Veterinary Surgeon.
v. Chartered Physiotherapist.
vi. BHS AI, II, I or Fellow.
vii. Other equestrian related professional (ie. back specialist, chiropractor etc)
viii. An overseas retailer customer of a Society of Master Saddlers trade/manufacturing member.
To teach a level of awareness of saddle fitting with no affiliation to any brand, this course showcases the techniques and the research that goes into the fitting process. Affiliated with the Society of Master Saddlers, this program is taught by guest lecturers that are Master Saddlers and Qualified Saddle Fitters teaching this program all over the world.
