Course Objective

 

To enable Qualified fitters to complete their required Professional Development and to offer education in subjects that are related to, but not always considered part of the official syllabus for saddle fit.

 

Theory and Practical;

 

  • Advanced performance Analysis

  • Saddle panel area versus design.  Research project  Gavin

  • Balance Point Analysis.   Research project  Gavin/Crowell

  • Lameness Research involving the back. Hind, Front, Contra lateral, Ipsilateral

  • Exercise effects on back dimensions and saddle fit. Dyson

  • Rider balance analysis. Gavin Crowell and Frederickson.

  • Temperature research involving backs. Gavin

  • Other topics of interest as they emerge
