Service Description

At the North American Saddlery School, our specialized curriculum focuses on developing and testing essential bridlemaking skills, crucial for advancing in English bridle making. This course is perfect for those looking to enhance their bridlework repair and creation techniques, or for anyone aspiring to a career in saddle and tack repair. Join us to refine your craft in a professional environment dedicated to quality education in saddlery. Skills tests and assignments have been developed in each area to allow candidates to demonstrate their craft skills in the stepped program we have created. These include: measuring, cutting, edging, staining, rubbing up, stitching and hole punching at an established level. Bridle Making Level 2 course work consists of instruction and practice in making of the following items; Head Collar (Halter), Running Martingale, Atherstone Girth Bridle Making Level 3 course consists of instruction and practice in making of the following items; Breastplate, Snaffle Bridle w/Reins *NEW Bridle Making Level 4 course consists of instruction and practice in the making of the following items and pattern designing; Bespoke Bridles Designs, Anatomical Bridle Designs, Working Equitation Bridles, and Bespoke Design work of other items
