Service Description

A comprehensive look at saddle fitting from the riders perspective. This brand new course will cover both theoretical and practice skills sessions assessing saddle fitting from the tree up to suit the rider for purpose. This two day course will cover the following topics; -How riders sit -Seat sizes for riders -The twist discussion -Movement and is distribution through the rider -Saddle stability and balance for the rider -Repercussions of different horse conformation types and their effect on a riders ability to sit -Tree types & issues of movement -Practical solutions and common limitations This course is open to current saddle fitters, saddlery professionals and past attendees of the Intro to Saddle Fitting Course held here at NASS. This course is also open to professionals; bodyworkers both human and equine, therapists, veterinarians, etc. All course participants are asked to bring with photograph evidence on case study to present and discuss with the group.
