Live Painted Horse Lecture Demonstrations - Horses Inside Out is so excited to announce that they are coming to Morven Park Equestrian Center in Maryland, USA on 12th July 2023. This is the first time Horses Inside Out has been in America since the Florida tour in 2013. So, this live painted horse lecture demonstration is an evening extravaganza not to be missed! Timetable 16.00: Doors Open 16.45: Introduction 17.00: Part 1 - Anatomical Connections Gain a valuable insight into the principles of anatomy and biomechanics related to improving the horse’s posture, movement and performance. Using a variety of in-hand exercises and movements Gillian will show you the range of movement available to the horse and explains the impact on the horse’s movement and performance if he is restricted in his joints and muscles. 18.30: BREAK Including opportunity to ask questions 9.30: Part 2 - Anatomy in Motion This movement and ridden section, jam-packed full of practical exercises, techniques and top tips that you can do with your own horse to improve his musculoskeletal health and performance, looks at the horse in motion on the lunge, performing dressage movements, over poles and doing gymnastic jumping exercises. With the rider in a skeleton body suit you'll also be able to study how rider posture and position can influence the horse. 20.30: Close This deal for horse owners, riders, coaches, veterinary students, saddlers and farriers. These applied and interactive day or evening demonstrations explain in a clear, entertaining, memorable way how understanding our horses’ make-up allows us to ride, train and manage them efficiently and effectively. With the internal anatomy painted on the outside, Gillian demonstrates exercises to develop a supple, strong, comfortable horse able to maximize the range of movement and perform at his best.
